LS Tractor Excited to be a Sponsor for the Rocky Mount Agricultural Forum

LS Tractor and farmers across North Carolina are excited to attend the Rocky Mount Agricultural Forum. This annual event is taking place today in Brown Auditorium on the campus of Nash Community College from 8AM-12PM. Emily Wagner, host of “On Carolina Soil” on TV station WNCN is serving once again as the emcee. The forum provides opportunities to share and discuss what the future holds as it brings together farmers, agricultural leaders, and policy makers to discuss trends, innovations and challenges in agriculture. Whether you are a new or experienced farmer, this forum is the place to collaborate, learn, and prosper in the ever-evolving world of agriculture.

The event begins this morning with a breakfast session sponsored by LS Tractor featuring keynote speaker, Steve Troxler. Troxler is a farmer and the current NC Commissioner of Agriculture. He has held this elected office since 2005 and is the perfect speaker to kick off the forum considering his knowledge and experience with agriculture. Troxler oversees a department consisting of 20 divisions and more than 2,000 employees. As a lifelong NC resident, farmer, and graduate of NC State, Troxler is a highly respected official in the agricultural community and has worked with farmers for decades. It is a privilege today to connect and learn from North Carolina’s chief elected official for agriculture and consumer sciences.
Following the breakfast session, there are breakout presentations featuring panel discussions and networking sessions with a focus on farmland preservation, field crops, and livestock. These gatherings are a platform to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing between experts, stakeholders and innovators from the agricultural sector. Discussions are sure to explore advancements, challenges and opportunities in the agriculture industry.

The Rocky Mount Agricultural Forum is free to attend thanks to LS Tractor and multiple other sponsors. However, attendees are encouraged to bring cash with them to participate in a 50/50 raffle to help farmers in Western North Carolina who continue to struggle after hurricane Helene. Vendors are also present today. LS Tractor sends a big thank you to the Nash County Chamber of Commerce and NC Extension Centers for partnering to organize this valuable event.
