Brian Switzer Equipment opened in 1991 and is located in Trumansburg, New York. Brian began the business selling lawn mowers and servicing tractors. Brian says, “I was born on a tractor in 1960”, and spent his childhood on a dairy farm. Tractors have always been part of Brian’s way of life and he is proud to have carried the LS Tractor brand since 2013. Brian is the owner of the business and has worn all the hats for over 30 years. Today he does most of the sales, while his son, Cody, has taken over the service side of the business. The father-son duo not only run the equipment business together, but also farm 350 acres of hay as a team. They believe strongly in the LS Tractor brand, and practice what they preach. Brian has owned 3 LS Tractors, even putting over 600 hours on a previous MT573 before trading up to the MT774. He says all of them have been good tractors, and using them on his farm gives him even more knowledge and experience to pass along to customers.
Brian Switzer Equipment has a rock-solid reputation for quality and service. He consistently takes time to communicate by phone and social media groups answering questions and assisting LS Tractor owners and potential customers with their machines. Brian also added a parts room at the business location where he stocks a large supply of parts to have on hand for faster service. He is currently looking into building a new shop so he can convert the current shop into more showroom space.
Brian is not only valued by his customers, but is also a respected leader in the LS Tractor dealer community. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Dealer Council for LS Tractor. This council consists of special dealers who are selected to represent the entire dealer network. Each council member represents their territory, and it’s their job to communicate important information to dealers in their area, as well as share questions and concerns that dealers have in the territory with corporate. Brian’s dependability, integrity, and experience with LS Tractors make him the ideal leader and member of this important group.
